Sony DNW-90WS

Comes with Sony BVF-V20W viewfinder and Sony shotgun mic. Records and plays back video and audio very clean. Also tape plays back well when using a DNW SX playback deck. Has a couple visible pixels at 9 and 18db if turned to complete black, otherwise no pixels noticeable when regular shooting, and pixels all good at 0db . Includes Fujinon A15x8BDEVM-28B lens with 2x Extender with good glass working fine. NOTE: Loads and ejects, but loading and unloading of cassette sometimes needs some help, so probably lubrication or slight tape path alignment woulld help. The DNW-90WS is the widescreen 2/3-inch 3CCD Beta SX camcorder that uses the highest quality FIT chips. These CCDs more effectively defeat vertical smear artifacts and have a wider dynamic range than conventional IT chips. The camera incorporates 10-bit / 36 MHz signal processing and the superb picture quality of Betacam SX digital recording format.

The camera is suprisingly less massive than analog format camcorders with a lower center of gravity giving it more stability on the shoulder. And with lens and viewfinder the camera comes in weighing less than 14 pounds. Convenience features include integrated PowerTap connector for an on-camera light, a slot at the rear of the rig especially for a wireless receiver, set-up memory card slot for pre-programmed video looks and operator preferences that can be taken from camera to camera or job to job.
